Joinery of HENSFORT will revitalise Huddersfield town centre.

HENSFORT's energy-efficient joinery will be implemented in Huddersfield, UK, later this year. The investment in luxury student flats is the first phase of a project outlined by Kirkless District Council to revitalise Huddersfield town centre.

In 2018, Kirklees District Council, as part of its Blueprint Vision project, decided to revitalise a former industrial building in Huddersfield town into a modern and exclusive block for use by students at the University of Huddersfield.

The project envisages the addition of seven floors, in which more than 70 rooms and flats will be arranged. As part of the project, the Przemysl-based manufacturer will supply the UK with aluminium windows and doors in the MB-79N system.

It is used for the construction of structures including fixed, tilt, tilt and turn, tilt and slide windows, as well as single and double-leaf external doors and shopfront solutions with doors, explains Maciej Hejnosz, Head of Aluminium Department at HENSFORT Sp. z o.o.

The specifics of windows and doors in the UK are very different from the standards of continental Europe, plus a number of logistical issues and meticulous work with documentation and formalities that change from day to day in the Brexit era. From here, I would like to thank our English partners for their trust and the HENSFORT employees for their commitment," says Paweł Rząsa, marketing manager at HENSFORT
